Nowadays there are web based applications such as http://www.iflaker.com. You build your professional website right on the browser. I have built mine in less than 10 minutes here http://www.iflaker.com/gabrielnkuna

You are right Mike and Myko, thanks for clarifying. These are all editors.....
courtesy of wikipedia
"In software engineering, a web application is an application that is accessed via a web browser over a network such as the Internet or an intranet. The term may also mean a computer software application that is hosted in a browser-controlled environment (e.g. a Java applet)[citation needed] or coded in a browser-supported language (such as JavaScript, possibly combined with a browser-rendered markup language like HTML) and reliant on a common web browser to render the application executable."

I stand corrected :)

So which one of these is a web application? No really... Please tell me.

As NONE of them are web applications. They are frameworks, IDEs and tools. What you get when you are done is a Web Application...

Eclipse is the engine behind Aptana. You can install Eclipse and add Aptana plugins to get the same proximate effect. And BTW, this should be 9 editors for web development, not 9 apps. ;)
